Los Demonios Amigos (the Demon Friends) is an ongoing series of work that combines my love for strong characters with bespoke graphic design. This series focuses on a bevy of characters that while scary looking are actually friendly and supportive. There is also, subtly here, a message on immigrants wherein the demon characters are stand ins for immigrants. The phrase “!Temas No! Yo soy tu amigo.” roughly translate to, “Fear not! I am your friend.” and is meant to deter people from being scared or wary of those that look different than them.

Big Sal

Big Sal is that best friend that’s also a big league ball breaker. There’s no frontin’ with Big Sal. It is what it is and it aint what it aint. So if you’ve got a friend that’s thinkin’ their shit don’t stink bring in Big Sal to set ‘em straight.
